I have received questions recently from coaches about how to control the various weeds that are active on their fields. With temperatures increasing, the weeds are beginning to grow rapidly...sometimes it seems like the weeds popped up between mowings, and then we are stuck wondering what the weed is and what herbicide can eliminate it! For most of you, the winter annuals are beginning to die out (or will soon) and summer annuals and perennial weeds are showing signs of growth. Annual weeds will be discussed in a future post.
